Scar
Thanks to a man with a sharp object, I now have a scar on my back.
On July 28th I had the stitches in. You can click the pictures for bigger ones, because I just know you're all dying to look at it:
As you can see, it's an inch long with four stitches.
The needles going in around the area to numb the skin for the stitches were the most painful. Once I was numb, the stitches went in. Althogether it took about 10 minutes.
This is how it looks today after the stitches came out:
It's pretty impressive I reckon.
I'm still not allowed to do any stretching, just in case I rip the scar open (a bad thing). But I can shower properly now; it was pretty annoying having to try and keep the area dry for so long.
I'll take another picture of it next week. Hopefully the scab will have flaked off by then and the true nature of the scar will be revealed.
