Prophetic Dreams

pro·phet·ic Pronunciation Key (pr-ftk) adj.

Foretelling events as if by divine inspiration: casual words that proved prophetic.

There's a girl I've not talked to in a while. It was partly out of choice after she made the choice not to speak to me; if someone doesn't have time for me, I don't have time for them. Simple really.
The thing is, I missed saying hello.

She was in my dream a few weeks ago, standing around in a red dress. She never wears this colour red though. Anyway, last night, she was in my dreams again. In my dream, she was sat on a sofa at a house watching TV. The house was at some sort of party. I went to sit next to her, not saying anything, but then decided to ask her if I could change the channel, she said yes. She then asked me if I was talking to her again.
I don't remember much else about that part of the dream, but I remember seeing her again as I was stood outside wearing a black suit and black tie. I was waiting for something, I don't know what. I turned away a funeral car that said I should get in because I was going to be late. I was then arrested because I was standing next to a gang of wanted men. She was looking at me as I was taken away.

All in all a weird dream, but incredibly realistic as my dreams usually are.
I went to work later that night, and I just knew the girl who hadn't spoken to me in a couple of months would come and say hello.
She did, and I was glad because I've missed her saying hello.

She also asked me if I was talking to her again.

Not usually one for believing in weirdness, tonight scored highly.
But I wasn't in the least bit suprised by tonight or the fact I seemed to have dreamed about it.

In other news, the night was suprisingly busy. Yay me.
